The newsticker RSS reader support creating groups and assigning feeds
into groups. However no group file format nor functions to move/assign
feeds into group are documented.
Newsticker should supply example group file in the same way it supply
example rss feeds. In addition to functions for feed assign/move there
should be function to explicitly save group file otherwise this
information is lost upon emacs exit.

Several commands for modifying the newsticker groups have been added.
They are documented in the newsticker manual which has been reworked and
enhanced. (The group file format is NOT documented, see the documentation
of the variable `newsticker-groups' instead.)
Changes to newsticker groups get saved automatically when newsticker is
being quit, the command for explicitly saving the group settings has
been added to the manual.
An example group file appears to be unnecessary. It should be easier to
modify the groups interactively from within newsticker.
Closing this bug.
