--- Begin Message --- Subject: sh-mode indentation of continued do loop lists Date: Wed, 28 May 2014 17:26:19 -0400 User-agent: Gnus (www.gnus.org), GNU Emacs (www.gnu.org/software/emacs/)
Package: emacs
Version: 24.3.91
Severity: minor

emacs -Q foo.sh, where foo.sh is as follows:

for foo in a \
    b; do
    echo $foo
done

In 24.3, using indent-region or indenting line-by-line produces the above.

In 24.3.91, the continued line gets way too much indentation:

for foo in a \
               b; do
    echo $foo
done

You can now set sh-indent-after-continuation to `always' to get the
"dumb" behavior.
