25.1; bug of define-fringe-bitmap |

Evaluating the forms below, emacs does not display a framed square.
The rightmost edge is not displayed.
(set-window-fringes nil 20 20) ;; ensure enough space to display image
(define-fringe-bitmap 'test-bitmap
(vector #b1111111
#b1000001
#b1000001
#b1000001
#b1000001
#b1000001
#b1111111)
7 7)
(insert "<" (propertize "x" 'display '(left-fringe test-bitmap)) ">\n")
It is needed to align patterns left in 8bit.
(define-fringe-bitmap 'test-bitmap ;; 7x7 pixel framed square
(vector #b11111110
#b10000010
#b10000010
#b10000010
#b10000010
#b10000010
#b11111110)

To display bitmap images wider than 8pixel,
it is needed to align patterns left in 16bit
and swap the higher 8bit and lower 8bit.
(define-fringe-bitmap 'test-bitmap ;; 12x12 pixel framed square
(vector #b1111000011111111

Exactly. The latter 2 don't display centered boxes on X11, either.

HAVE_MACGUI is for the Mac port, so I only added HAVE_NTGUI.
Thanks for checking the patch.
