What special case?  As far as I could see, I was trying to argue that
the text should be similar on all systems.  And Miles was saying
something similar, unless my command of the English language became
really shabby lately.

Saying that is IMHO useless; we already say that Emacs is Free
Software.  We might as well simply leave it at that.  Which will be
just fine by me, btw.
