X resources override font menu? |

My X resources appear to make the font menu on shift-down-mouse-1
inoperative. The frame briefly flashes to the correct size, but then
resets and shows this message in the minibuffer:
Face default, frame #<frame address@hidden 0x87f7428\ >:
invalid attribute :font -*-lucidatypewriter-medium-*-*-*-*-120-*-*-*-*-*-*
from X resource
I can repro this here (XFree86 4.0.1, Debian (unstable) GNU/Linux system)
with just the single X resource for the default face:
Emacs.default.attributeFont:
-*-lucidatypewriter-medium-*-*-*-*-120-*-*-*-*-*-*
Does anybody else see this?
