Given how often this question comes back, I'm wondering what exactly
is still needed to be done before the pretest can happen.  I've been
responsible for a fair bit of "after-feature-freeze addition of features",
but I really think that the best way to slow down addition of features
is to start the pretest to keep people busy fixing bugs that the
pretesters care about.
