[I've CC'd this to Dave Gillespie; Dave, this is a from a group of
Emacs 21 pretesters. Calc has lots of fans besides me!]

When did it happen for you, and what was the error? Do you mean
that it worked for you before in Emacs 21, but stopped now?

I had problems with Calc when I started using it with Emacs 21, but
I found and corrected the problem, and it is working for me ever
   since.

The problem I corrected was that code which deletes text from the
minibuffer needs to bne rewritten because the minibuffer prompt is
   now read-only.

Eli, your fix has not propagated, or if it did, I lost your patch.
In the short run, please post your patch.

Dave: we need a new version of Calc with this fix as well as what ever
is needed to enable keypad mode in Emacs 19 and 20.

(We also need a `calc-version' function as well as the variable. (See
the `emacs-version' function for the code.)

Otherwise, Calc 2.02f is working fine as far as I can see.
