Hi,

there is something like this in the doc-string of error:

| In Emacs, the convention is that error messages start with a capital
| letter but *do not* end with a period.  Please follow this convention

but there are 197 occurrences of this dot:

address@hidden:lisp > find . -type f -print0 | xargs -0 -e grep -n -e 
'(error.*[^\.]\."'|wc -l
    197

But I do not think it is worthy to change it right now before the release
of 21.1... Or do you think it is the time to do it?
