I could use SSH (or even kerberos) if necessary, but it's so very
significantly slower that I would really much rather keep using `pserver'
access if at all possible.
Or maybe I should try to use that "fast ssh" thingy that keeps
the connection open to speed up subsequent re-connections ?
But wouldn't that require shell access to `subversions' ?
