I agree with the assessment that this is probably not an Emacs problem (it
seems like XFindContext gets SIGSEGV).
It could still be an Emacs problem. It is hard to be sure
exactly what an X app should do when it loses a connection.
Perhaps Emacs does the wrong thing.
(The worst possibility is that perhaps the right thing is different
for different X servers. Maybe anything Emacs does could be wrong.
I hope not.)
