Ok.  I wanted to get this off sooner but I was busy this week.  :(

Here is basically what I am thinking (see the attached HTML).

The main advantages over the current website:

- - Modeled after websites of other Free Software projects (Apache, GCC, etc).
  This format is quickly becoming somewhat of a standard format IMO.

- - Exposes all resource in screenshots, authors, and development resources.

- - Allows each section to be somewhat atomic.  IE we can have a dedicated news
  page, a page for future plans, etc.

- - Allows us to link to external resources such as CVS, GNU mailman, etc.

What is GNU Emacs? To quote the Emacs Manual: Emacs is the extensible, customizable, self-documenting real-time display editor. (Sorry, Mayan hieroglyphs are not supported.) A large number of extensions which add other functionality. The GNU Emacs distribution includes many extensions; many others are available separately--even a web browser
