Patch for ange-ftp.el (based on 20.6) got lost?

Hi Emacs developers,

in June 2000 I sent in a patch for ange-ftp adding BS2000 as possible
machines to connect to.  It got accepted and queued by Gerd Moellmann
waiting for the assignment (copyright) which I sent along per air mail.

Recently I looked again into ange-ftp in order to add additional
functionality.  Therefore I also looked into the newest version of ange-ftp
(21.1) and found out that the patch wasn't included.  Now my question:

Did the patch or the assignment or both got lost or was there another reason
not to include the patch?
