Btw, would it make sense to make a list of the issues recorded in this
archive (perhaps TODO-style), with short descriptions of each issue
and a pointer to the details in the rmail file? We could then put the
short list somewhere, perhaps even in www.gnu.org/software/emacs, or
on savannah.gnu.org/projects/emacs, to make it easier for potential
contributors to find the jobs they'd like to work on.
I'm willing to make such a list, but it's a formidable amount of work
(the mail archive is more than 400 messages), so I'll do it only if
several people tell me they will use the result.
