As far as I remember all I did was to type in one buffer and then copy-paste in another. This doesn't cause any problems as far as I can tell. What was the exact symptom of that problem? Any weird symbols when you visit Changelog? Does anybody remember what was the exact version# of Changelog that got screwed up with that coding system?
