Bad value from read-from-string

From: Juanma Barranquero
Subject: Bad value from read-from-string
Date: Wed, 29 May 2002 13:08:10 +0200

On HEAD:

emacs -q --no-site-file
M-x ielm
1 [enter]

=> Args out of range: "1", 7, 1

Only happens with the first expression evaluated. It is caused by the
value returned by read-from-string.
