[pretest] Symbol's value as variable is void: perl-mode-abbrev-table

I didn't have this problem a while back.. Now I am getting this on the pretest.

I reverted back to my CVS snapshot I was running (it is about a month old) and
this problem does not exist.

Are we missing a defvar for this?
