This info is present, since each buffer has a local var that contain the
list of control buffers of the ediff sessions related to it.

Grin. But I wasn't trying to get at you. I really actively disliked emerge's
interface, which was one of the reasons why I didn't use it, while at the
same time stealing many other ideas from this package.
