Alright, I decided to follow this advice and checked out
emacs-unicode-2 an hour ago.  When I eval this expression on
GNU/Linux ...

(set-face-font 'mode-line
               "-adobe-helvetica-medium-r-normal-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1")

... then Emacs segfaults.

I append the backtrace. Where is the right place to send bug reports
to? address@hidden, perhaps with "[unicode]" in the
subject? Or to the emacs-unicode mailing list?
