There is no guidance on the page "Sending Patches" (trouble.texi) as to
which way is preferred by the Emacs core team. I have a feeling that
including patches is preferred to attaching them (Diff Mode and Ediff
have no problems with this).
I prefer it a little, but I would not bother writing about it there.
