    The code for dired to handle moving, copying and linking of files is last
    in the file.  Currently I hook in on dired-mode-hook, I don't know if
    this code should be moved to dired or kept here.

Please move this to Dired when it is installed.  We try to keep all of
a major mode's definitions together.
