I don't see the relevance.  More specifically, I understand Kim's change to
only affect the computation of line height, not line spacing.
By its description Kim's change sounds right (although I guess Handa's
point about C-k increasing the line height is valid: so we should refine
the change, but not take it out).
But maybe I'm misunderstanding.
