That was a half-joke.  I mean Emacs gives the user the power.

But surely Emacs users have different levels of experience.

Many non-Emacs assistants or simple options windows of various
programs provide some kind of [Advanced] button which leads to
a separate page with more settings for more experienced users.

Emacs assistants could provide something similar as well: on the
highest level to have a minimal set of basic options to set up
things to a working state, and somewhere on deeper levels of the
customization outline provide options that require more knowledge
but allow more customization.

And there is nothing wrong with using assistants even by experienced
Emacs users when assistants allow to customize simple things faster
than by reading manuals and manually modifying .emacs.
