Sure.

Also it seems that files that are intended to be non-specific to Gnus don't
start with `gnus-', so maybe there's no need to move any file and
file-name-prefix can be used instead.

I don't really care how it's done, so long as it's clear enough that there
won't be too many conflicts where the file changed on the Gnus (resp Emacs)
side and it creates problems on the Emacs (resp Gnus) side.
