Do you think it would be appropriate for cc-mode to insert a
semicolon in a context like label: } where the standard does
not accept empty statements? For example automatically, when
the file is saved?
Note that GCC accepts this too, as an extension.
It is not valid ISO C, but it is valid GNU C.
In designing GNU software, valid GNU C is a more
important criterion than valid ISO C.
