It's the concept that counts, and none of the merit is taken away  
from Emacs if the term denotating the concept changes.

But if you look up a term in a corpus such as Google's, you will want  
to have a look at the distribution of its alternate, near-synonymous  
variants.

"key bindings" --> 277,000
"key shortcuts" --> 111,000
"keyboard commands" --> 311,000
"key commands" --> 208,000
"keyboard shortcuts" --> 2,630,000 hits
