I often use `next-buffer' to switch to the next buffer in the buffer list,
and I expect that `prev-buffer' restores exactly the same buffers as left
with `next-buffer'.
Yes, it ought to.
If it fails to do so, that's a bug, so if you have a fix,
please install it.
