   My personal opinion is that the "Set for Current Session" and "Reset
   to Current" buttons are superfluous.

"Set for Current Session" is so you will not have to remember to set
it back before you exit Emacs, nor to which value you wanted to set it
back to (remember that some values you set through Custom can be long
and complex).

"Reset to Current" is so that if you mess up a long and complex value
by editing it, you can safely discard your edits.
