I think Chong's idea about making all changes persist is a great one.
It's something that I've thought about. It will simplify the interface
a LOT since most of the buttons would go away. That said, I use Set
for Current Session a LOT (as do most of you) so we'll have to do
something about that. After the release.

For now, a couple of name tweaks, without changing the semantics as
Richard suggests is wise.

I've never like Erase Customization. How about just Default?

The Reset to Current has always baffled me. I *think* it means to
change the settings to what they were before Customize was entered,
but I'm not sure. I had thought of Undo; this was validated by Luc's
message. It's not a Revert; that command is better suited for
reverting from the saved setting in .emacs.

We can make the buttons at the top one line with probably more
clarity:

  Set Save Undo Revert Default Finish

Ditto for the menu items. What the heck is Reset to Backup and Show
Value Widget?
