But given the RAM doubles every 18-24 months, increasing by only 13 percent
a
year means Emacs is becoming progressively easier to run.
Indeed, Emacs is now not particularly large, nor particularly slow to
start up. A program using a mere Eight Megabytes is no longer
Constantly Swapping.
