I see tex-dvi-view-command has a reasonably sensible default value
these days (choice of xdvi, dvi2tty or yap), so I think the manual
needn't to say you have to set it.
* text.texi (TeX Print): tex-dvi-view-command has a default value,
remove the bit saying you must set it.
Of course whether the default is a program you've got and like is
another matter, so the "may (or may not)" qualifier better stay. :)
