I don't know to be happy or not. Where I was getting a

(1) I did an update from cvs and then
(2) added the "-dgward-2 -g3" options as advised above like below:
export CFLAGS="-gdwarf-2 -g3" in my install script.
ran the install script. But, it ran succesfully!
