OK, I do not have very strong opinion about that... the reason I asked
is because we have already had somebody confused about which mode was
he actually running -- on emacs-devel. I just assumed that the likelihood
of confusion in other societies is even larger.

I am not so sure about that...

Any user who have been writing Python code before he switched to CVS
Emacs, as well as any user who uses both CVS and 21.3 versions of
Emacs, is likely to have both modes installed.
