When an error occurs in calling a function in `window-scroll-functions'
Emacs may behave very strangely.
I don't think it is a requirement to fix this. To fix it would be an
improvement, so it would be nice to install a safe fix if someone can
find one. But if we don't find a safe fix, I would rather make no
change.
Perhaps just using safe_run_hooks or something similar
will do the job.
