Can you please explain what exactly are you trying to accomplish and
how are you trying to accomplish it?  

The main reason the environment variables are sent from emacsclient to
the server is to initialize the terminal correctly: you can have a
terminal frame in an xterm and at the same time one in a vt100
terminal and they both work as expected. Károly might correct me if I
am wrong, but I don't think PATH has been considered too much...
