As there are likely to be more disruptive changes on the multi-tty
branch as developers work on making it work on other platforms, would it
be a good idea to tag the initial checkin of the branch as
"multi-tty-stable" or similar? Once the initial disruption is over, we
can update the tag regularly to give people who want to test the branch
in their daily use something that is at least reasonably stable to track.
