After running make clean and make distclean the gmalloc.c from trunk
causes this segfault during make.

LC_ALL=C ./temacs -batch -l loadup dump
Segmentation fault
*** Error code 139

Stop in /home/dan/emacs-22.1/src.
*** Error code 1

Stop in /home/dan/emacs-22.1.
