We do want to avoid fontification in internal buffers:
those whose names start with space.

What should we do about buffers visiting files whose names start with
space?  Perhaps construct the buffer name by deleting the space.
These buffers ought to be visible, but lots of things in Emacs will
treat them as internal because of the space.
