I see you cut out almost everything from the About screen.

I just did substantial work on both the fancy and text-only
startup and about screens.  I put back PART of what was there before.

    As I said before, most programs usually put a short description
    of the program, how to contribute and report bugs, text of the
    licence and a list of authors/contributors.

Some of those things are still not included in our About screens.
Could you those that is missing?
