Entering Emacs from a common
writers/translaters/publishers life, it took me hours
if not days of desperate searching to realize:
text-mode has no foot-note facilities integrated.
Most of the time when people use footnotes they do so
in text that is marked up (LaTeX, Texinfo, nroff).
Would it be useful to add footnote commands to the corresponding modes?
