process-connection-type is t by default in emacs. Please note that Emacs.App is NOT included in emacs CVS, so you are better off asking this question to the maintainers of that code.
OK, apologies for this, I had seen suggestion elsewhere that Emacs.app was in CVS and somehow the "official" port. They also need to change their address for bug reports, then...
