23.0.60; rmail failure

From: root
Subject: 23.0.60; rmail failure
Date: Wed, 06 Feb 2008 16:11:24 +0000

The problem i reported earlier may be related to the variable rmail-mode-map
which is reported as undefines when I trace rmail-mode into rmail-mode-2 and to
rmail-1 to the line
  (use-local-map rmail-mode-map)

As far as i can tell it has killed all local variables in rmail-mode-2 and
called rmail-variables but that does not seem to goive me a rmail-mode-map

I woudl appreciate any assistance. Unattended reading mu RMAIL file goves 97%
CPU usage and a process that I have to kill rather forcably
