Miles's sync between Gnus's CVS and Emacs's CVS will do that anyway.
Maybe you want to ask Miles to do a round of sync'ing (he seems to have
been a bit busy with other things recently).

Feel free to check all other uses. There are many, but the check is
fairly easy: if the `functionp' is immediately followed by `funcall',
you can be pretty sure that the code is correct.
