For the sake of completeness, in thread 4 we find 'bss_sbrk_buffer' 
which is defined in src/sheap.c as

char bss_sbrk_buffer[STATIC_HEAP_SIZE];

Trying STATIC_HEAP_SIZE = 25MB does not solve and, sincerely, I do not 
think here is the culprit.
