It means the user can choose the appropriate one, whether inside or
outside macro recording. Since it shouldn't make a difference if you're
recording a macro or not...

Even if you do want to (or provide an option to) "help" IMO the way to
do it would be to have the keyboard macro definition remember an
associated window-width, and have keyboard macro playback temporarily
apply that window-width during playback (not necessarily visually
resizing the window). That seems far nicer than meddling with
line-move-visual on entering macro definition and playback.
Would probably require some C-level work.


I can see the idea, but I fear that with all details this may be very complicated. But I am not sure.
