A reminder of some ChangeLog conventions:
When installing changes by others, please make the changelog entry in
their name, not yours. Also consider whether the changes should be
marked as tiny, or if an assignment is required.
Also (as documented in admin/notes/changelogs) there is no need to
indicate regeneration of files such as configure in ChangeLog; or to
make entries for files such as NEWS, or FOR-RELEASE.
