Great.  So we have a good enough repository now?

Yes, indeed, keeping the repository up to date may not be necessary.

Right, we'd want something for that indeed.  It doesn't need to be done
at the same time, but it'd be much better if we had some plan for how to
do it.

Based on the last discussion around rich-root becoming the default, I'd
