Bugs #2563 and #2571 appear to be the same. Both users, running with
the ru_RU.UTF-8 language environment, trigger an abort in
multibyte_chars_in_text (character.c:622). This abort occurs while
processing a string emitted by an external process---rgrep in the case
of #2563, and gs in the case of #2571.
I haven't been able to reproduce either bug by doing `export
LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8'. Does anyone on this list have any suggestion?
