I've just put a patch for an experimental implementation of SVG
support using the WebKit framework.

  ftp://ftp.math.s.chiba-u.ac.jp/emacs/emacs-23.1-mac-1.93-svg.patch.gz

This works on Mac OS X 10.4 and later.

  * This patch is against a source tree to which
    emacs-23.1-mac-1.93.tar.gz was applied.

  * If you are to use a source tree on which the Mac port was built
before, then you need to run config.status to regenerate Makefiles
    after applying this patch.

  * If you have librsvg installed, then specify --without-rsvg as a
configure option (otherwise, rasterization by librsvg is
    preferred.)
