Actually, branch was busted.  It fixed some of the problems, but was
wrong in other subtle ways.

Max Bowsher's patch, on the other hand, fixed the problem correctly, and
it has already been merged into lp:bzr-fastimport.  My guess is that
Andreas is simply missing a revision or two.
