   If implemented well, tabs can be a nice visual reminder of recently used
   buffers and UI for simple and quick mouse use.

Hum yes. I am always in the linux console thus I do not need more
stuff. But I am pretty sure that even in X, I would not run the
graphic toolkit ;).
